"Today, I celebrate Chapter 37 with a new meaning and with a different perspective!

This chapter led me into a meaningful discovery and these experiences redefined me. I am diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Cancer and my vocal cords became paralyzed. All the specialists anticipate from 6 months to 1 year for my voice to return. I have to do speech therapy to aid in the process. Nevertheless, I see my life as an adjustment and I never knew how strong I am until being strong is the only choice I have. Stepping into chapter 37 is an inspiration, a new experience, and an achievement.

As these pages continue to turn in Chapter 37, I celebrate with the realization that I am currently in possession of the most priceless gift on Earth- LIFE!"

"Loving myself became the greatest revolution! To fall in love with myself is the first secret to my happiness.

I realized that I had to forgive myself for the things I held on to that kept me from growth! I had to forgive those who had hurt me because it kept me chained from mentally moving forward. I learned to step in faith and not let fear guide me anymore.

One of the bravest things I had to do was face the person I am in the mirror. To appreciate her, to love her, to build her up, and speak words of life. My past does not define me but it shaped me into the woman that I am now and the woman I am becoming.

I adjusted my sail when I was faced with fear. I allowed myself to feel the pain but I pushed through. I chose myself first and saw my worth. I rediscovered myself in the process...

I reminded myself, I am enough. Because loving myself became the greatest revolution!"
